"A Jake Kuzyk special, the K2 Medium was engineered under the watchful eye of Canada’s most dynamic snowboarder. A premium snowboard that represents the top end of the K2 freestyle collection, the Medium is designed to launch off side hits, step up to street spots, and put down big landings on both sides of the resort ropes. We built the Medium as a true cambered twin, with the camber extending well past the binding inserts for huge pop, edge tracking, and stability. The sustainably harvested all-wood BAP Core is lightweight and strong, delivering a snappy feel and the mid-to-stiff flex needed to land big tricks. We use our Carbon OllieBar™ in between the inserts for superior rebound and pop, and Carbon DarkWeb™ stringers extend from the bindings to the toe and heel side edges for precise edge control. We sandwich the entire layup with triaxially braided fiberglass to dampen vibration and give the board stability at high speed on all snow types, and use a Sintered 4000 base that gives you the speed you want, when you want it.
